Insurance

North Highlands Family Dental accepts and files for ALL insurances. We are providers for Blue Cross of Louisiana, Delta Dental, and Humana Dental; however, we are NOT a Medicaid provider.

Appointments

Available Monday-Thursday. No walk-in appointments available. All emergency cases require an oral evaluation – no same day extractions are offered.

All appointments will be confirmed the day before treatment personally by one of our staff. In order to provide the best of care to our patients, we do not double book our appointments. The time allotted to you is for you only, so if you are unable to make an appointment, please give us the courtesy of a call. We understand emergencies arise and will try to reschedule you as soon as possible. Repeated no show appointments without notification may result in a fee or refusal of service.

Please arrive ten minutes before scheduled appointment time. If any insurance or health information has changed, please alert the front desk. If you are a new patient, you will need photo ID, insurance card and time to complete new patient paperwork. If you require premedication, please remember to bring your medication.

Emergency After Hours Calls

There are times when you may need access to Dr. Talley, and he is always happy to help patients of record with their emergency dental care. If you find you are in need of Dr. Talley, please call 318-470-5598 and leave a detailed message regarding the issue. Please note: Dr. Talley cannot prescribe medication for any person not a patient of record  per state law.

Payment

North Highland Dental accepts cash, personal checks with identification, and all major credit cards. Financing options are available upon request.

Refund Policy

Please allow 4-6 weeks for insurance refunds. Accounts receivable processes refunds once a month, usually at the end of each month.
